RED SPADES

Jack Jones was a police detective who went by the nickname Black Jack because he was a famous card player. However, while he enjoyed playing cards, Jack was an honest cop. After being betrayed by a fellow policeman, he was imprisoned in a mad scientist's lab by the mob. He was experimented on to see if one can get psychic powers. After a few weeks of experimental torture, the scientist left him alone to go over the data. Jack, however, managed to use his new telekinetic powers on his playing card to free himself and escape. He faked his death during his escape. Because his card saved his life he became the card-themed crime fighter taking up the identity of Red Spades to fight crime and capture the gangsters and crooked cops with his new psychic powers.
